As part of voluntary community service activities aimed at enhancing positive participation in social solidarity, the College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit and the Quality Assurance Division, organized a visit to the Elderly Care Home in Basrah. The visit was sponsored by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Jubran Khalil Hassan, with the participation of several faculty members and students.

The Head of the Student Activities Unit, Professor Dr. Sanaa Jawad Al-Mayah, explained that moral and logistical support was provided during the visit, funded by faculty donations and proceeds from the charity bazaar organized by the college. In response, the management of the care home expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the College of Pharmacy for these noble humanitarian initiatives that promote the concepts of charitable volunteer work and unity among all segments of Iraqi society.
