A joint research team in the University of Basrah conducted a joint study on Sustainable Development from the Green Accounting Perspective.
The joint study reviewed international interests to carry out actions that benefit from obtaining sustainable development, the accounting discipline decides to collaborate through green accounting.
The joint study showing green accounting as the object to study due to the considerable efforts that are being made worldwide to achieve sustainability globally, to achieve harmony between economic, social and natural resources. It is exposed to environmental accounting as a means of support that can contribute to the companies that practice it putting more emphasis on sustainable development.
The joint study, which published in the International Journal of innovation, creativity and change(ijicc), demonstrated the quantitative and qualitative methodology that will be used to determine if comprehensive accounting is the mechanism that can help an oil service organizations and technology achieve a clean development in the environment.
The joint study providing the methodology and data types which can help in improving the green accounting system of the state, as well as the country, to help in sustainable development oriented policy formulations.
It is worth mentioning that the joint research team was the faculty members at Basrah University, Nael Jaafar Ali Alqudhayeb and Farhan Layeth Ayyez Al- Maryani from the College of Nursing, and Ammar Imad Khalaf Halboosh from the College of Education Qurna.
