During his visit to the president of the university of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the representative Abdul Amir Al-Mayahi congratulated University of Basrah for achieving the first place locally, the 18th in the Arab world, and among the best (301-400) out of (1115) universities globally in the British Times Rankings of the 17 UN goals for sustainable development for the year 2021.
For his part, the University President welcomed the guest stating that University of Basrah is continuing to develop to enhance its position within the global rankings by developing and updating its various academic programs, research activities and the role of its community centers in sensing community issues.
