The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, chaired a meeting of the advanced personnel, in which he called for activating the authorities given to the departments and universities and working according to administrative decentralization according to the laws in force.
During the meeting, which was attended by the undersecretary and counselor of the Ministry, the Head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, the General Directors and the Director of Private Education, he stressed on supporting the governorates and covering their needs, especially the educational ones, for public services confirming that the Ministry is continuing to complete the project of the University of Shatra in the province of Dhi Qar and meeting its necessary academic requirements in light of the planned timings.
He urged the development of cooperations with international organizations in order to achieve interests in the field of cultural relations and enhance the desired benefit of international openness.
He directed all departments of the ministry to elaborate the plan of the academic year 2022/2021 at the level of primary and higher studies and what is related to them in terms of admission and the procedures of public and private applications.
He stressed on safety procedures in the buildings by continuous coordinating with the directorates of civil defense, providing important supplies, and constantly monitoring.
He renewed his call to emphasize the importance of the vaccine for Corona pandemic, urging teachers, employees and students to vaccinate and confront the pandemic with the necessary health awareness.
At the same time, he expressed his thanks to the teaching and employees staff who positively dealt with the data update file and the biometric cards, which is almost 100% completed in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its university formations.
