Avicenna Center for E-Learning, in cooperation with the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah, organized a workshop on designing an educational paradigm to produce a scientific lecture on MOOC website
The workshop aimed to try to keep up with the transitions of higher education by involving in digital content a large number of students, which can not be involved in traditional institutions
The workshop, presented by Dr. Uday Bashir Issa and researcher Haider Jaafar al-Deglawi, included making an introduction and summary for the scientific material (lectures) and making the massive open online courses (the curriculum) available over the Internet for all those who want, other than students, without requiring any skills, as well as managing the evaluation activities
