The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in compliance with the policy and methodology adopted in the field of scientific research and in accordance with the timings planned within its academic program, announces that the Iraqi universities' research published in Scopus international containers will increase to more than 72600 research.
In the context of these indicators that enhance Iraq's position in international classifications, the portal of scientific journals and indicators for classifications (Scimago Journal: & Country Rank) has shown that Iraq occupies the forty fifth position in the world, sixth in the Middle East, and third in the Arab world in publishing scientific research in various fields.
For the close connection between global publishing and the reputation of universities, the Iraqi scientific research indicator reinforces the competition area occupied by the Iraqi universities in international classifications and confirms the achievement of their mission of improving the education quality and developing the academic performance.
