The Continuing Education and Development Center at University of Basrah organized an online workshop on the concept of training for human resource management.
The workshop aimed to enable the participants to know how to conduct the training process so that the working individual can learn and acquire the skill.
The workshop, which was presented by the instructor, Areej Karim Rahman, included identifying the concept of training as the continuous organized process that provides the individual with the knowledge and skills required to perform a specific work or to reach a specific goal.
The training elements are the inputs, which are the parts to be changed in their nature to a form that suits the desires and goals of the system, the processes, which are the set of systems, procedures, methods and tools that are used either to transform the inputs or to add new characteristics to them, and the outputs, which are the achievements or results of the training.
The training presented in the workshop is training according to employment, pension and the place that is inside the company’s site or outside the company’s site, and the objectives of providing the individual with skills, information and experiences that he lacks and new behavioral patterns and trends in favor of work, as well as improving and refining the existing skills and abilities of the individual, and increasing the degree of workers' connection with their organizations, by combining the interests of both of them.
