The Date Palm Research Center at University of Basrah organized a panel discussion on the role of some strategies used in improving the salt tolerance of date palm (Al-Sayer) variety.
The panel discussion, in which the instructor, Muhammad Hadi Tuaima, lectured, aimed to acquaint researchers with the positive role of some substances used in improving the salt tolerance of such as sulfur, salicylic acid, humic and some minerals.
The panel discussion reviewed the results of adding these substances and how to improve the characteristics of date palm fruits qualitatively and productively.
