Within the framework of implementing the terms of joint scientific cooperation between University of Basrah and Halliburton International Company, a delegation from University of Basrah, headed by Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, the deans of the College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Computer Science and Information Technology, and a number of department managers visited the headquarters of Halliburton International, and they were received by the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Fahd Intisar.
During the visit, both parties presented the plan prepared to implement the terms of cooperation with the estimated statistics, after which the university delegation toured the laboratories and places of the company and get a sense of the possibilities available for the success of what was agreed upon.
