The President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, congratulated the Governorate police chief, Jurist Major General Ali Adnan Al-Maliki on the occasion of assuming the new position, on a visit to his workplace in the Basrah Police Command.
During the visit, ways of cooperation between Basrah University and the Governorate police leadership in the security and societal fields were discussed. Major General Al-Maliki expressed his willingness to support the university in all activities and forums.
