The Cultural Center and the College of Agriculture at University of Basrah organized a ceremony to conclude the University Culture Forum.
The ceremony included honoring the winners of the student competition (Bridge of Knowledge), the opening of a book fair sponsored by the (Injaz Al-Basrah Foundation for Human Development) and the participation of bookstore owners on Al-Farahidi Street, as well as the opening of a photographic gallery (Salam Ya Basrati) under the supervision of photography coach Mahmoud Al-Jazaery and a musical piece by oud player Omar Abdul-Kareem.
The Director of the Cultural Center, Dr. Abdul-Kareem Aboud Odeh, said, "The forum represents part of the cultural center's plan for the academic year 2021, which was characterized by diversity in activities and events to confirm that Basrah is an incubator of science and culture, and that the university culture forum is the origin of this act that strengthened community ties and extended bridges of knowledge and science with the academic community and the rest of society.
