University of Basrah received thanks and appreciation from the International Friendship Organization in the Kingdom of Sweden in appreciation of the exceptional efforts made by the university in support of the volunteer work of the organization in the scientific conference held by the Swedish-Iraqi Studies Network - Center for Middle Eastern Studies at the Swedish University of Lund and the International Friendship Organization in the Kingdom of Sweden and Amman Arab University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and it was the first virtual Arab conference for the Arab university leaders under the title "Towards a unified vision for Arab universities in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals".
