The President of University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, received thanks and appreciation from the Swedish-Iraqi Network for Studies at the Swedish University of Lund for the distinguished participation in a work paper in the first university leaders conference entitled (Towards a unified vision for Arab universities in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals).
The conference is the first of its kind that brings together university leaders to contribute to drawing a unified Arab vision in achieving the goals of sustainable development. At the conference, university presidents or their assistants delivered (27) research papers on the vision of their universities to achieve some or all of those goals. The conference was attended by more than (60) presidents of Arab universities, (95) deans of colleges, a large number of academics, researchers, and heads of scientific centers and societies.
