(Nor can a soul die except by Allah's leave, the term being fixed as by writing. If any do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it to him; and if any do desire a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve us with) gratitude)
We extend our condolences and sympathy to the supreme religious authority in Najaf and to the family of Al-Hakim on the passing away of the great religious authority, Ayatollah Alodma Sayyid Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakim, who passed away after a lifetime full of knowledge, piety, jihad, and religious and social responsibilities.
As we hope from God to bestow upon the Islamic nation and the Iraqi people with beautiful patience over this affliction, we ask Him, to bless the passed away authority with His vast mercy and descend upon him forgiveness and satisfaction, and to preserve our Authority and perpetuate their supply.
(Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return)
