Students of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah participated in the Iraq Theater Festival in its first session, under the patronage of the President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih. The student (Ahmed Muhammad Sabri), a postgraduate student, and the fourth stage student (Bodour Saad Qassem) participated in in this Festival. Prof. Dr. Qusay Muhammad Al-Dirawi, Director of the Student Activities Department, said that the two students had a key role in the play (It Happened Every Time), and the student Bodour won the best actress in the festival. The play was among the ten competing performances.
